The hotel's location was fantastic, with the rail station just across the street and a bus stop for the explorer bus right in front. The second-story sitting area provided a great view of the surrounding area, which included the spectacular sights of the Blue Mountains.
Some rooms lacked proper ventilation and air conditioning, making it uncomfortable, especially during the summer months.

Beautifully decorated and historical hotel. Attentive staff and clean spa room. Great continental breakfast and convenient undercover car parking. Location is excellent for exploring the heart of town and surrounding areas. Enjoyed the billiards room.

The hotel is centrally located, just minutes from the train station and close to everything within the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering great suggestions for things to do in the area. The hotel facilities were excellent, with spacious and clean rooms. The breakfast provided at the hotel was delicious and satisfying.

The hotel had a lovely reception area and bar, and our room wasnice and neat. We also enjoyed the beautiful heritage ambiance throughout the hotel.
There were several disappointments. First, there was no air conditioning in the room, quite uncomfortable during the warmer weather.

We had a fantastic time at this place. We loved the central location in town with plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from. The staff members were incredibly helpful and recommended some great tours for us to do. Our room had all the amenities we needed including an iron and tea/coffee facilities. It was clean and comfortable with a sitting area and a balcony overlooking a beautiful garden.
This did not take away from the exceptional customer service we received from the others, including on Christmas day when they went out of their way to make our stay special. We enjoyed the live entertainment and used the massage services, which were a great way to unwind.

We loved the historic charm of the hotel, and our spacious and tastefully decorated balcony room with a lovely view. The location was convenient and the continental breakfast was satisfactory. Despite the creaky floorboards, we had a relaxing stay and would recommend this hotel.
